Tickets On Sale for “Newsies” Theatrical Event

It’s official! Tickets for Newsies the musical are now on sale at Fandango. US movie theatres will host the film for three days only on Thursday, February 16th at 7:00pm, Saturday, February 18th at 12:55pm, and Wednesday, February 22 at 7:00pm. The live production of Newsies was recorded at the Hollywood Pantages Theatre as part of the show’s National Tour. The screening will also feature behind-the-scenes footage and interviews with the cast and creators. Original cast member Jeremy Jordan reprised Jack Kelly and was joined by other original performers Kara Lindsay, Ben Fankhauser, and Andrew Keenan-Bolger. This is the first time Disney Theatrical Productions has partnered with Fathom Events to bring one of their productions to the film screen. This opens up a potential avenue for Disney to bring more of their stage productions to the screen for a wider audience.
