Disney Infinity Gold Collections Out Now On PC

Disney have released Gold Editions of Disney Infinity 1.0, 2.0 and 3.0 on PC, the Gold Editions are priced at $29.99/£22.99 each, or all three in a bundle for $59.99/£44.99.  Included in each bundle are all the playsets, figures and power discs for each version, plus previous edition characters/power discs for the 2.0 & 3.0 editions.

These Gold Editions will allow Disney to continue to sell the game, without the need of “microtransactions” such as power discs or additional characters, as the PC version didn’t use the physical toys like the console versions did.

However all of the online functions of the game won’t work, due to the servers being shut down.  But these editions also come with some selected toy boxes from the community. It’s also worth noting that the PC version of 3.0 doesn’t include most of content from 2016 such as the Marvel Battlegrounds and Finding Dory playsets, or Toy Box characters like Alice, Mad Hatter, Time and Baloo.

Disney is also offering the Gold editions for free if players previously purchased DLC on the PC versions, however this doesn’t include unlocking content via physical webcodes or using a toy on the console version.
