Tsum Tsum Tuesday: Marvel Mystery Packs Series 2 Review (JAKKS Pacific)

For the last Tsum Tsum Tuesday of 2016, I took a look at the last, and most recent, JAKKS Pacific Mystery Pack Series to hit the shelves: Marvel Series 2. I previously reviewed Marvel Series 1, so I was excited to see Series 2 hit the shelves, and finished the set shortly before Christmas. Let’s take a closer look.

The bulk of these characters, each with a customized accessory, hail from either the Avengers or Spider-Man franchises, with Doctor Strange and Star Lord making appearances as well. This also marks the first time a “small Tsum Tsum” exclusive accessory has been included in the Mystery Packs, with the Doctor’s accessory (previously, this year’s Tsum Tsum Advent Calendar had a star cookie accessory with the same feature).

Overall, I feel that this is a great extension of the line, though I feel it’s lacking female presence, something that the overall Marvel Tsum Tsum line is doing okay with. Perhaps this mystery pack series can work on it.

No Tsum Tsum Tuesday from me the next couple of weeks, as I will be on vacation at Walt Disney World. However, I will be taking some of my Disney Color Pop! Tsum Tsums with me for fun photos in the parks.
