JUST WHEN YOU WEREN’T LOOKING

Elsa encounters two brothers who are in the waffle business who have been feuding with each other for years through sabotaging each other’s waffle business. Elsa decides that the two must stay at least thirty feet apart from each other to end the fighting and tells them to get along or face consequences if further pranks occur.

Anna checks on Elsa to see what is wrong as she explains the dilemma to her, Anna tells her that she keeps up her cheerfulness because things always seemed to work out in the end for her. She recounts how several incidents as a kid went bad as first such as missing the last waffle, or when she would crash into furniture while riding through the halls on her bicycle. Anna soon told her how suddenly waffles showed up in her room or when the furniture suddenly vanished. Elsa reveals that she was the one who made the changes to better suit Anna.

How will the two get the brothers to stop fighting ? Get a copy of Disney Frozen #2 to find out for yourself.

TRAVEL ARANDELLE

Anna, Elsa and Olaf are off hiking in the outskirts of Arandelle to White Stag Rock as they put out the campfire. Elsa remarked she never heard of White Stag Rock as Anna informed her she read about in one of her books as the two head up the hill.

The two soon find what they think is the mountain, but unfortunately for them it’s actually an avalanche as Elsa uses her powers to rise ice from the ground to block the incoming snow. The campsite and canoe are now buried in snow as the two must walk the long way back home.

The two walk through the countryside as they decide to built shelter for the night as Elsa makes an igloo as they build a fire inside hoping to return home soon.

Will the two encounter more mishaps during their hike ? You know the drill by now

OLAF’S PASTIME

In today’s recycled story from the Frozen Magazine, Olaf enters Kristoff’s room after hearing the sounds from his lute. Kristoff tells him that playing the lute is his favourite pastime as Olaf wonders what that could be.

He explains that a pastime is an activity you do in your free time as Anna offers to help him find one. They try climbing trees at first but Olaf doesn’t get it right as painting is next but Olaf’s body makes that an impossibility. They go through several more activities as Olaf soon finds the pastime just for him.

What is his choice ? I’m not telling

FINAL THOUGHTS

Last issue, I wrote about how I had problems with how the Italian studio hired to do the colours left a pretty bad impression on me as it felt like the studio’s employees drew one page each leaving for a very messy execution. But the colours in this issue are executed much better as they twinkled it down to four to five colourists per story.

The stories are also pretty enjoyable to read as it explores aspects of Arendelle that would not have been covered in the film or specials. I would like to see more of Kristoff in the future since he is enjoyable to read about.
