Listen: Broadway’s “Freaky Friday” Soundtrack Premiere

Freaky Friday has gone through the Disney treatment twice before with two live-action movies. Now, the original book travels to the stage for a Broadway-bound production. Currently, the off-Broadway production in La Jolla, California, stars Emma Hunton and Heidi Blickenstaff with music written by Tom Kitt and Brian Yorkey who previously worked on Broadway’s Next to Normal. An official trailer for the brand new soundtrack has been released as well as a few songs.
