Disney Submit New Gondola Plans For Walt Disney World

It is being reported by WDWMagic that some permit plans have been submitted for a new Gondola transportation system that could be added to Walt Disney World.

The plans show that the new transportation system will link Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Epcot, Art of Animation Resort and Caribbean Beach Resort.

With major construction taking place at the Caribbean Beach Resort and Hollywood Studios, building this at the same time would be much easier.

Disney has used Gondolas in the past at Walt Disney World, as they had the Skyway in the Magic Kingdom to transport guests around.

Nothing has been officially announced yet, but this new system would help reduce congestion on the bus network.  A gondala system is being used in other locations such as London, I used this myself just a couple of months ago and it’s a great way to move people around without much noise and offering a more fun way of getting around.
