Star Wars Celebration To Skip 2018

With the Star Wars Celebration event set to come to Orlando next month, it was revealed today that the Star Wars Celebration event will be skipping 2018 and returning in 2019.  No details have been revealed on the next events location or dates yet.

Celebration is the official, definitive Star Wars event, with entertainment, interactive experiences and exclusives that can only be found at this Lucasfilm production. They are the ultimate community fan gathering as well, and friends will want to start planning to be together again to commemorate everyone’s favorite saga.

This isn’t the first time the event has taken place on alternative years (like Disney’s other event D23 Expo), it skipped 2009, 2011, 2014 and a few other years in the earlier days of the event.
