Disney Enchanted Tales To Shut Down Later This Month
Disney have announced that the mobile game, Disney Enchanted Tales will be no longer be available after April 30th, 2017 on all platforms, including the App Store and Google Play.
As part of the shutdown, Disney will no longer be accepting new purchases or downloads and the game will no longer be able to launch or play the game from April 30th.
Disney added “We greatly appreciate the passion and support of all our players. This was a difficult decision, but ultimately the game did not attract the audience we hoped it would, and as a result we plan to focus our efforts on new games for our fans and community. Thank you for playing.”
The game allows players to build your very own magical kingdoms that bring cherished Disney stories and characters to life! The game includes beloved characters like Belle, the Beast, Lumiere & Cogsworth from Beauty and the Beast, as well as Rapunzel & Flynn from Tangled, and Anna & Elsa from Frozen!
Disney Enchanted Tales only launched in September 2016, however the game never recieved too much attention or promotion, especially as it was compared to Disney Magic Kingdoms, which had a similar idea.
This continues the trend of Disney closing down apps such as Club Penguin, Marvel Avengers Alliance and Disney Infinity.

I really feel like they should have given us the stuff to finish the Aladdin quest. I have Jasmine over here wondering around all by herself! If you are going to get rid of the game what’s the harm in turning that event back on.

I am ok with this I uninstalled the game about 4 weeks ago. Was at max level nothing to do. I found the events too grindy. No wonder they are shutting down, no social media presence at all or advertising. No wonder it did not attract enough players.

This aches my heart! When I stumbled onto this game I was super thrilled! The characters alone were amazingly animated to perfection and adorable, my daughter downloaded this my husband and I even downloaded it on my phone and iPad just to constantly play and build things different each time….. so sad. But I was happy to have infinite money and diamonds made it fun while it lasted! Thanks disney hope it comes back ?

Still not over this game 🙁 found myself reinstalling it hoping somehow I’d be able to play it again but of course no luck 🙁 haven’t found a similar game like it and magic kingdom was no where near as fun or interesting *sigh* please bring it back Enchanted takes, Disney!!!!!!!!
