Will Smith In Talks For Genie Role In Live Action Aladdin

The live action version of Aladdin has found its Genie, according to Deadline, Will Smith, is in early talks with Disney to take on the role, made famous by the late Robin Williams.

The new version is being directed by Guy Ritchie and production for the movie is set to go into production in the U.K in July for 6 months.

Will Smith had previously been in talks with Disney and Tim Burton about starring in the live action version of Dumbo.

    I wish Disney would stop with the live-action re-makes already! So bored of them, I much prefer original creations like Moana and Zootopia
