Mobile Order Available At Pandora – The World of Avatar From May 27th

Disney have announced details on a new food ordering service that is coming to Walt Disney World later this month, appearing first in the new themed area, Pandora – The World of Avatar at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.

It will be available at the park’s Satu’li Canteen restaurant on opening day – May 27th – and then expanding to Pizzafari, Flame Tree Barbecue and Restaurantosaurus during the summer.

The new mobile food ordering system will be coming to more fast casual and quick service locations across Walt Disney World Resort later this year.

The new Mobile Order system can be found in the My Disney Experience app, and allows guests to place orders and purchase meals on-the-go. Guests can select menu items, customize orders and pre-pay for meals during park visits from within the app.

Guests can place an order and pre-pay in the app, and they when they arrive at Satu’li Canteen, they can just tap the “I’m here” button. This sends a notification to the kitchen to prepare the order, and the when its ready, guests will be alerted through the app to pick up the order at the designated window with the Mobile Order pick up sign.

During the initial launch period, guests can only pay via credit card and if there are any guests with special dietary restrictions, or those who want to use discounts or redeem dining plan entitlements they must place their order with a cashier.
