Review: NBX Santa Jack & Sally Coffin Dolls (Diamond Select)

This is Halloween, this is Halloween…

Well, not exactly. However, the holidays are just a few months away, and recently our friends at Diamond Select Toys released a new line of their Nightmare Before Christmas Coffin Dolls, this time representing Santa “Sandy Claws” Jack Skellington and Mrs. Claus Sally. DST sent over a pair of the dolls for me to get a closer look at. Check out my review video below and then scroll down for some pics of the two dolls out of their coffins.

Up front, unlike most of the other NBX Coffin Dolls that come in black packaging, these pair of holiday dolls come in bright red coffins, which sets them off from the rest.

Both Jack and Sally come decked out in Christmas garb, and each comes with a gift sack. Sally also comes with three Halloweentown Christmas toys.

Here is a turnaround look at Jack, complete with his display stand, as he cannot stand on his own. He has multiple points of articulation, including the head, shoulders, elbows, wrists, hips, and knees.

And here is a turnaround look at Sally. Now, she might be able to stand on her own, but I wasn’t going to take any chances. She has more minimal points of articulation than Jack, as her limbs are solid molded pieces.

Overall, these dolls will be wonderful addition to my NBX collection during Christmas. I love the design and the costuming of the dolls. More great work from Diamond Select.
