Review: NBX Deluxe Dolls- Mayor & Dr. Finkelstein (Diamond Select)

For today’s review, I take a look at the newest addition to the Nightmare Before Christmas (NBX) line of deluxe dolls from Diamond Select Toys. Earlier releases included Jack and Sally in various formats (packaged in coffins), but now The Mayor and Dr. Finkelstein join the line. Check out my review video and then let’s take a look at some additional pictures.

Both The Mayor and Dr. Finkelstein come packaged in window boxes. The Mayor is not as tied down as Dr. Finkelstein is, but both sets of packaging protect the dolls well.

NOTE: The dolls are very fragile in some spots, and were not created with children in mind.

The Mayor comes with a stand (top heavy without it), an interchangeable hand with the megaphone, and a head that twists around showing his two emotions.

Dr. Finkelstein comes with a wheelchair (which he can be removed from), and a hinged head that opens to reveal the two halves of his brain.

Overall, there are a wonderful addition to my NBX collection. Now, in the video I did state that I was going to try and get some group shots of these dolls with the others in the line I have already. However, I forget that they are in temporary storage as I am reorganizing my apartment this summer. Apologies.
