Black Bolt Coming To Marvel Heroes Omega On Thursday

We’ve known for a while the Inhumans Black Bolt would be coming soon to the console versions of Marvel Heroes Omega, and now it’s been confirmed that he will be playable from Thursday. 5th October.   This includes his costume inspired by Inhumans, a Marvel Television Series.

Here are some details on Black Bolt:

Black Bolt has three specific playstyles:

  • Hand-To-Hand / Movement-based, up close and personal melee combat
  • Energy-based ranged combat for long range decimation
  • Versatile melee / ranged hybrid playstyle to answer a variety of situations

Black Bolt is a mobile hero with the ability to stick to more evasive enemies like The Hood.

Black Bolt uses a unique primary resource called Charge:

  • Generated from various powers, but slowly decays over time
  • Percentage-based generation rewards players for itemizing bonus Charge
  • Most Melee Powers only consume charge to gain bonus effects, whereas Ranged Powers often require it

Black Bolt also has a number of short, disruptive crowd control effects to interrupt powerful enemy attacks.
