Bob Iger Could Stay On As Disney CEO If The Fox Deal Goes Ahead

The Fox and Disney deal continues to make headlines around the world and today’s latest update from the Wall Street Journal that suggests that Disney CEO Bob Iger might be staying on past July 2019 to help lead the integration of Fox into Disney, should the deal take place.

Rumours continue to swirl about the deal, which could be announced by next week, especially with the role of CEO, which has been linked to Bob Chapek and James Murdoch in the past few weeks.

Bob Iger took over as CEO of Disney in 2005 and has been buying up assets like Marvel, Pixar and Lucasfilm (Star Wars), so adding Fox to the list of acquisitions he has succeeded with.
