Capcom CEO Wants To Port Games To Switch

Capcom recently announced some new games including Mega Man 11 and the Street Fighter 30th Anniversary for the Nintendo Switch, and due to the success of the Home/Portable console, it is planning on bringing other ports of their games to the Nintendo Switch.

While the majority of Capcom Disney games originally were released on Nintendo systems like the SNES, many of Capcom’s Marvel games like the Marvel Vs Capcom series, could make interesting re-releases on the Switch, either in a collection format like the 30th Anniversary of Street Fighter or as individual releases, similar to how NEO-GEO classic titles have been re-released.

Also earlier this year, Capcom released the Disney Afternoon Collection, which included many classic games like Ducktales, Chip & Dale Rescue Ranger, Darkwing Duck and Talesping, but the game wasn’t released on the Nintendo Switch. And with Capcom announcing that the recent Mega Man Legacy Collections would be brought to the system, it looks like the Afternoon Collection could also be heading over to the Switch.

There are also many other classic Disney games that Capcom created, such as “The Little Mermaid”, “Aladdin”, and “The Magical Quest: Featuring Mickey Mouse”, these hopefully have also been added to a list of future re-releases.

Would you like to see some more classic Capcom games brought to the Nintendo Switch?
