Disney Fox Deal Could Be Announced On Thursday

The deal between 21st Century Fox and Disney are currently on a “glide path” for a announcement on Thursday according to sources at CNBC.

No details on the deal haven’t yet been made public by either Disney or Fox, however it was announced by Comcast that they are no longer bidding for the majority of Fox assets that could includes franchises like Die Hard, Avatar, Simpsons, Family Guy, Alien and more.

Analysts are reporting that the deal could be somewhere between $40 billion to over $60 billion

Current Fox shareholders would get one share of the company that remains after the movie and television assets are sold, plus shares of Disney in a fixed exchange ratio.  Sources said this week that the Fox spinoff entity would be worth approximately $10 a share.
