Disneyland Paris FanDaze Tickets Details Announced

Disneyland Paris have announced new details on their new “FanDaze” event, which is coming to the park on the first weekend of June.

The Disney FanDaze Inaugural Party Packages go on sale 15th January 2018, there are two different packages available, Classic and Themed, each one with its own magical extras.  Classic packages will be released online, while Themed Packages can only be booked on the phone by calling 08448 008 898 (calls cost 5p per minute plus your phone company’s access charge).

Disney also confirmed that a limited number of standalone tickets will go on sale spring 2018.

There will also be some bonus conferences available, where fans can listen to some Disney Imagineers or a Duffy & Friends panel.  Both are priced at €25 each and will be taking place in the Animagique Theatre.  Guests will need to have a a valid Disney FanDaze Inaugural Party ticket to book into the conferences.

My Take:  This event does seem to be very expensive at first glance, one part that instant stood out is how including Disneyland Paris park tickets probably shouldn’t have been included as default as many of the die-hard Disneyland Paris fans will probably have Annual Passes, which means they are having to pay for access to the park, when they already have paid.

They’ve also included a stay in the Santa Fe hotel, which takes options away from people going to the event, such as staying offsite nearby or even upgrading to a better hotel if they wish.

The individual tickets might be a better option for annual pass holders, if they are willing to take the risk to wait.

Offering a all in once package, might make it easier on some guests, but this event is aimed at hardcore Disneyland Paris fans, who will be used to booking their own trips.

Its also very difficult to recommend an event at this price, for a family of four going on the most expensive package for a 2 night stay, for the same price, they could go to Walt Disney World for 2 weeks!

If your only going once this year, going for the classic package, might not as bad, but for the price of 2 people, I’ve gone for less including food and transportation.

Many fans had hoped FanDaze could be an alternative to the D23 Expo for Europe, but the reaction so far hasn’t been positive.
