Ridley Scott In Talks With Disney For “The Merlin Saga”

Disney is looking to create a new series of live action movies based on the Merlin Sage, which is a series of novels by T.A Brown, which focuses on Merlin’s life before he meets King Arthur. Disney is also looking to create a live-action version of their animated classic “The Sword In The Stone”.

According to Variety, Disney are in early talks with Ridley Scott to direct “The Merlin Saga”, though nothing has been officially been announced, with neither party responding to Variety for a comment.

Ridley Scott has recently worked on Alien: Covenant and All the Money in the World.
