Review: Guardians of the Galaxy Geeki Tikis Collection

For today’s review, I take a look at the Guardians of the Galaxy Geeki Tikis collection. Featuring six tiki mugs, representations of the core characters of the first movie make up the assortment: Star-Lord, Gamora, Drax, Rocket Raccoon, Groot, and Baby Groot.

Also part of this collection is the Yondu Geeki Tiki, which was exclusive to May 2017 Loot Crate Marvel Gear + Goods edition. I actually broke down earlier this week and snagged mine off eBay in order to complete my collection.

Let’s take a look at the regular releases.

Yes, they are DIFFERENT characters.

 

Each mug has a paler, toned down outer color, with a bright, vibrant interior color. This is true for the Geeki Tikis line in general.

 

Overall, I really love this collection, which you should be able to find possibly on sale/clearance as the designs are on the older side. I know I got mine on sale via shopDisney last fall, but just getting around to reviewing them now because they were in storage. While shopDisney does not have them available at the time of this posting, our friends over at ThinkGeek do. Head over there now!
