LEGO Star Wars Ski Speeder vs. First Order Walker Microfighters – 75195 Review

The LEGO Star Wars Ski Speeder vs. First Order Walker Microfighters set is based on a scene from Star Wars: The Last Jedi. This pack features a Resistance Ski Speeder and First Order Heavy Assault Walker vehicle, both of each includes stud shooters, plus lots of authentic detailing and space on top for a minifigure. Also included are 2 minifigures: a Resistance Speeder Pilot and a First Order Walker Driver.

Here is a look at the packaging:

This set’s highlight is the Walker, for a mini vehicle build, it’s really detailed, I especially love how the pieces of the head work, plus how the legs of the walker work.

The Ski Speeder is a fun small build, I love the cockpit section and really like the fan on the back, which make it stand out.  I also like how the smooth pieces underneath make it easy to play with.   Perfect for young fans who wanted to recreate the scene from Crait.

I was a little surprised to see the small gun build included in this set, since it makes little sense and feels like they needed to add a few pieces and came up with that.

The two minifigures are great, I love the earpiece accessory on the Resistance Speeder Pilot and I can never have enough Stormtroopers.

OVERALL:

This is a great small set for younger fans and the vehicles are much better quality than what could be found in the Mighty Micros twin packs.  Compared to the single packs from the Microfighter range, this offers good value and with two great builds, along with two great minifigures.

REVIEW SCORE: 8 out of 10
