Star Wars Stormtrooper Mighty Mugg Review

Hasbro have released a new wave of Star Wars Mighty Muggs figures and here is my review of the Stormtrooper, which comes with 3 different faces.

This Stormtrooper comes with a standard expression, which is what I personally prefer, since its more a traditional look.  There are two other expressions, which I did find funny since Mask’s usually don’t display any emotion, but I do like the angry expression as well, its easy to think that’s what the trooper underneath is actually thinking like.

Each figure comes in a stackable, sturdy box and it is easily removed without damaging the packaging.  It’s also easy to pop them back in and you can press the button on top of their heads to flip the faces, even within the packaging.

Here is a look at the packaging:

Here is my video review of this Stormtrooper figure:

As you will see in my video, this Mighty Mugg wasn’t working properly, it kept sticking when trying to press down on the head.  I could change the expression by swiping my thumb across the face, so it wasn’t broken enough to cause any issues for displaying, but it was a little annoying.  This is the first time I’ve had this with one of the newer Mighty Muggs and its a shame.

OVERALL:  7 out of 10

REVIEW SCORE:  With only one expression standing out and having the technical issues with this figure, I can’t rate it as one of the better Mighty Muggs.  However I love the detail on the helmet and when placed in the standard expression mode, its perfect for displaying.

You can purchase this Mighty Mugg from ShopDisney.com, Amazon and Entertainment Earth.
