Ant-Man Pop Vinyl Review

With Marvel’s newest live action movie, Ant-Man and the Wasp being released this summer, Funko have brought out a new collection of Pop Vinyls based on the movie.

The Ant-Man Pop has some great small details, such as how Ant-Man is holding the trigger button in his hand, you can just make out the little red button near his thumb.  Which is a nice touch.  While we’ve seen Ant-Man Pops released for the original movie and from the Civil War range, this one has been upgraded to his newer look, so the mouthpiece is a little more streamlined.  Plus I’ve always been a big fan of the translucent glass on the mask, so you can see his eyes behind it.

Funko have also added a Chase variant figure, which is an unmasked version of the Pop Vinyl, which has a 1 in 6 rarity, so if your purchasing this Pop online, you could end up with that version.  I like how the unshaven look sets this variant version apart from the usual Pop head.

OVERALL:  If you need an Ant-Man Pop Vinyl, this is probably one of the best “standard sized” version of him, if you’ve got a Pop from the original movie or Civil War, I’m not sure I’d recommend buying this again, but its a fantastic Pop, with lots of small details that really make this stand out as a excellent Pop Vinyl.
