Star Wars X-Wing 2.0 Miniatures Game Out Now

Today sees the release of Fantasy Flight Games second edition of the Star Wars X-Wing miniature game.  Making the game much more accessible to new players wanting to jump into the game.  There is also a new App/website builder, which helps players put together their squads for action.

This new version of the game does offer some form of backwards compatibility, with three different conversion kits available, which replace all of the cards, dials and tokens, but allowing existing players to continue to use their existing ships.   Conversion kits for the Resistance and First Order ships from the original version of the game will be released later this year.

The launch includes a brand new core set, along with the following expansion packs:

  • Galactic Empire Conversion Kit
  • Scum and Villainy Conversion Kit
