Kristin Corrigan Promoted to Vice President, Engagement Marketing, Disney Channels

Kristin Corrigan has been promoted to vice president, Engagement Marketing, Disney Channels, and will oversee the teams responsible for outreach campaigns across Disney Channel, Disney Junior and Disney XD, with a focus on paid media planning, social media, event activations and promotional partnerships. The announcement was made today by John Rood, senior vice president, Marketing, Disney Channels Worldwide, to whom she reports.

Rood said, “Kristin is a true innovator who has had an incredible impact on the huge successes we have seen across Disney Channels, most recently building the strength of the Disney Junior brand and its hit series. Her strategic vision makes her well-poised to lead the charge with our team in the ever-evolving world of engagement marketing.”

A brand and content strategist for over 20 years, Corrigan joined Disney Channel in 2009. Most recently she served as executive director, Brand Development and Integrated Planning, responsible for managing Disney Junior’s highly successful retail business and franchise development for hit series such as “Doc McStuffins,” “Elena of Avalor,” “Fancy Nancy” and “Vampirina,” among others. She played an integral role in the development and launch of multiple children’s museum exhibits inspired by Disney Junior series, as well as the “Disney Junior Dance Party On Tour!” live concert experience for kids and families.

Corrigan is a member of Disney Channels’ Leadership and Learning Advisory Board, which shapes and champions leadership, culture and learning initiatives for employees.

Earlier in her Disney Channel tenure, Corrigan led franchise management on some of the networks biggest properties including “Hannah Montana,” “Camp Rock,” “Teen Beach Movie” and “Descendants.” Prior to joining Disney, Corrigan was vice president, Global Brand Management for Warner Brothers, where she managed feature film franchises including “Harry Potter” and “The Dark Knight.”

Corrigan graduated from Dickinson College in Carlisle, Pennsylvania, with a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish. She resides in Los Angeles.
