Marvel’s Avengers Academy Shutting Down
Hot off the heels of Spider-Man Unlimited announcing its closing down next year, TinyCo have announced that the mobile game, Marvel Avengers Academy will also be closing down on February 4th 2019.
The game will be removed from the App Store, Google Play and Amazon at the end of this month for new users. In-Game purchases will also no longer be available from the end of the month.
Players were told of the closure via a message when logging in.
TinyCo said it made the decision so it could “focus on new and innovative games.” It’s parent company, Jam City recently announced a new deal with Disney for new titles but also laid a number of staff off.
