Ex-Hearthstone Creators Working On A New Marvel Game

A brand new Marvel game is currently in production by a new company called Second Dinner, which has been formed by five former Blizzard Entertainment staff. These former staff worked on Blizzard’s Hearthstone digital card game.

The team made the announcement on their YouTube channel, while recruiting for new members of staff to join the team. The team currently consists of Ben Brode, Hamilton Chu, Mike Schweitzer, Yong Woo and Jomaro Kindred.

It looks like this game will be a mobile title:

“We think there’s a huge opportunity to make deep, satisfying games that are optimized for mobile, and we’re currently working on a game that we’re really excited about.”

And they also announced on their website the following:

We’re partnering with Marvel on our first game. I know what you’re thinking: “WHAAAT?!!? You get to make a game with Hellcow the vampiric cow and Throg, the Mighty Frog of Thunder??”

Yes. Yes we do. Also Spider-Man and the Avengers and the X-Men. We’re working on the prototype already and we think it might just be the most fun thing ever in the history of fun.

Stay tuned for more news on our various doings and shenanigans. Not like right away, but there will be more at some point. We promise!

Yours Truly,

Second Dinner

It might be a while until we learn more about the game, but with the success of Hearthstone, a new mobile game from this team could be a huge hit for Marvel fans.

Are you excited about this new Marvel game?
