Star Wars Battlefront 2 Adds New Mode & Additional Reinforcements

EA have announced details on the next big update to the Star Wars Battlefront 2 Video Game.  The next update will be available on March 26th and will add a new mode where the forces of the Galactic Republic and Separatists clash in Capital Supremacy, which is an immersive, Clone Wars-era authentic experience in Star Wars Battlefront II – where non-linear ground battles fuse with the thrill of invading capital ships and taking them down.

Capital Supremacy will be the largest Battlefront 2 mode and will see two teams of 20 do battle, alongside with an additional 12 AI bots also joining each side.

The battle takes place on Geonosis and they will be battling over five control points. For each control point generate special tickets. Once a team has enough of them, transports will arrive to take them to the capital ship, so the more troops that make it onto the transport, the more tickets the team will have for the assault.

The second and third modes take place in space, with attackers trying to override doors and planting explosives. Should the attackers’ tickets run out before they finish setting the explosives, the battle will return to the planet and both teams will start racing to the opposing ship again.

They will also be releasing the latest location, Pipeline Junction West on Geonosis, plus the Separatist Dreadnought and Republic Attack Cruiser capital ship interiors – all serving as settings to the dynamic and tactical warfare of Capital Supremacy.

Two additional reinforcement units join the battle as well – the Infiltrator class Republic ARC Trooper and Separatist BX Commando Droid.

Will you be jumping back into Star Wars Battlefront 2?
