Disney Comics Solicitations August 2019
August is looking to be a packed month with more drama and action across the various Disney Kingdoms. First off in Disney Afternoon Giant #6, the Rescue Rangers are attacked by a mysterious ninja clan while Darkwing comes out of retirement to try to find out who owns Quackwerks and save St. Canard from itself. In the return of the DuckTales series to IDW, Donald Duck seeks nothing but a nice nap resulting in the loss of all sound throughout the world in the start of a new 3 issue mini series.
In Frozen : The Hero Within #3, Anna and Kristoff are close to finding their missing friend but stumbles into the forbidden Kingdom full of all sorts of dangers. In a kingdom long long ago, the retelling of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs comes to a close while Rapunzel stumbles on in a special one-shot issue in Tangled The Series : Hair It Is
In the merry land of Marvel, the U-Foes return to cause nothing but trouble for the Avengers but Black Panther begins to doubt if he belongs in the group in Marvel Action: Avengers #8. Captain Marvel makes her IDW debut in a special three-issue mini series dealing with why cats are suddenly being replaced with Flerkens in Marvel Action Captain Marvel #1. Finally, in Marvel Action: Spider-Man #9, Spider-Man and the gang finally defeat the illustrious thief Black Cat.
