Pop! Review: The Lion King’s Hyena Trio (ECCC Exclusive)

For today’s review, I check out one of this year’s Emerald City Comic Con (ECCC) Funko exclusives. Shared with Amazon.com, the Lion King collection expanded with the addition of Scar’s three henchmen in Pop! form: the Hyena Trio Banzai, Shenzi, and Ed. Packaged together in a 3pk window box, these laughsters are ready to help Scar rule the Pridelands.

I love the sculpts of these guys, but Banzai is very top heavy. Other than that,they are awesome.

Since this set sold out at ECCC and on Amazon.com, the secondary market is the only place you can currently buy them should you want to add them to your collection. I was lucky enough to order them when they became available earlier this year, but I am just getting around to unboxing them now. Whoops.

 

Overall, this is a great set, and I am happy to have gotten them for my collection. They are some of my favorite Disney minions ever.
