Review: NBX Series 6 Action Figures (Diamond Select)

For today’s review, I take a look at the sixth series of Nightmare Before Christmas Select action figures. These figures were released late last year, and are currently the most recent series available. The set is comprised of three packs, each including two action figures and accessories. Let’s take a closer look.

Sally, Mummy Boy, & Hanging Tree

With probably one of the biggest pack-in accessories to date for this line, Sally and Mummy Boy comes with the beautifully sculpted Hanging Tree. Both Sally and Mummy Boy also each come with a stand for displaying, Sally with the usual black stand and Mummy Boy with a small clear stand.

The Hanging Tree comes with five skeletons that were apparently hung in their previously life.

Devil and Harlequin Demon

The Devil comes with a present, while the Harlequin Demon comes with a workstation, his hat-making mallet, a rat hat and a bat hat… straight out of the song “Making Christmas”. The workstation can be combined with the tables from Series 5 to make a bigger workshop.

Clown with the Tear-Away Face & Undersea Gal

The last of the sets in this series sees two fan-favorites from the movie, Clown with the Tear-Away Face and Undersea Gal, joining the Select line. Clown comes with a Cat-in-a-Box. Undersea Gal comes with her basin and a clear display stand.

What can I say? This line keeps on getting better and better with each series Diamond Select releases. The sculpting is on point, the accessories are plentiful, and the breadth of characters they are releasing are great. I am looking forward to Series 7 and 8 coming later this year, where the Witches and Vampires will finally join the citizens of Halloweentown.

Special thanks to the team at Diamond Select Toys for sending these figures over for me to review. They are a top-notch company putting out really great products.
