Review: Play-doh Mysteries Frozen II Snow Globe Playset

Disney’s newest animated movie, Frozen II, debuts this week. To celebrate, a lot of companies have been releasing new products showcasing characters from the movie. One company that has went all out is Hasbro, with them releasing dolls, figures, playsets, games, and more. Recently, the Disney team over at Hasbro sent me a bountiful box of items to celebrate what has been dubbed #FrozenFanFest. For the next few days, I am going to be delving into this box of goodies and sharing my thoughts on some of it.

First up is a Frozen II themed playset from the Play-doh Mysteries line. Here is the Snow Globe Playset, featuring Queen Elsa from the movie.

The Snow Globe Playset comes with five tubs of Play-doh, four small tubs in light blue, purple, green, and orange, and a larger tub in white.

The Elsa figure features a snowflake mold on the bottom side.

In addition to Elsa, there are eight other “mystery” surprises inside the packaging. Let’s first check out the smaller surprises.

The final surprise is the Snow Globe itself, which includes a bunch of molds in the base (Sven!) and an attachment for making it “snow” inside the globe with Play-doh flurries.

This is such a fun set for bringing out the creativity in little ones. Being able to recreate scenes from both Frozen movies in Play-doh will be a lot of fun for kids. After finishing this review, I am passing this set along to my landlord’s kiddos, who LOVE Disney and Frozen. They are 6 and 5, respectively… and I know they will have a great time playing with this set.

Want to pick up this set for the holidays for the special kids in your life? It’s being released at major retailers this fall, and available for pre-order up at Entertainment Earth.

Special thanks to the Hasbro team for sending me this item to review. Stayed tuned tomorrow and Friday for looks at some more great Frozen items from Hasbro.
