Marvel Avengers Attraction Opening in Toronto

UPDATE, October 20: The website, Instagram, and Facebook accounts for the attraction launched today. The website includes a email notification list, to get an alert when tickets go on sale.

“Avengers, assemble!” That call-to-arms is being heard in Toronto, where one of the city’s largest malls is preparing to open “Avengers S.T.A.T.I.O.N.: The Exhibit.”

Later this year, Yorkdale Shopping Centre will be home to an exhibition showcasing “the origins of their favourite superheroes in a thrilling, immersive experience. Explore original sets, props, costumes and even the Avengers training facility itself, all in a story-driven walk-through that plunges audiences deep into the Avengers world.”

The attraction is likely to open before the end of 2020, as they’re aiming to have a retail manager on staff by mid-September.

In Las Vegas, a similar attraction has operated at Treasure Island casino since 2016. It also visited Times Square in 2014, and Melbourne, Australia in 2018.

According to the job listing, the experience will be run by Exhibition Adventure Inc., which is somehow associated with the Canadian National Exhibition. The annual fair was cancelled this year, due to the on-going pandemic.
