Review: Goofy & Donald Duck Toybox Figures

For today’s review, I check out a pair of action figures from the Disney Store exclusive line of Toybox figures. Inspired by designs from the Disney Infinity line of video games, this action figure line includes characters from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, and Star Wars properties. Previously, I reviewed the Mickey Mouse & Pluto and Minnie Mouse figures. Today, I round out the “Fab 5” by looking at Goofy and Donald Duck, which come as a 2pk.

I really like the design of these two figures, which have multiple points of articulation. Because they are packaged together, they do not come with accessories.

 

I know I have said it before, but I really like this Toybox line of action figures. Why? Mainly because characters like Goofy and Donald here get an action figure treatment, that is not tied to something like the Kingdom Hearts franchise. This line also allows Disney to create figures for characters in a certain movie or franchise without needing to do them all (as shown on the back of this packaging with Peter Pan and Captain Hook, which I hope to pick up soon),

 

While this 2pk is no longer available online at shopDisney, you can still find it in some of the brick & mortar Disney Store locations. However, Goofy and Donald appear in a special set with Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, and Minnie’s cat, Figaro.
