Review: Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge Jawa Mug (Target Exclusive)

Last year, during the height of the Covid-19 pandemic here in the US, Disney Parks teamed up with Target to bring some of their Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge products to store shelves. From actions figures and plush to droids and housewares… a lot of items originally intended to be at the parks ended up at local Target stores and online.

One of these items I picked up to add to my Star Wars Tiki Mug collection. My collection comprises of official Disney Parks pieces, Geeki Tikis pieces, and occasionally one that strikes my fancy. This piece, distributed by Zak Designs, is one of those. Here is the Galaxy’s Edge Jawa Tiki Mug.

This 14oz ceramic mug holds both hot and cold beverages. Just shy of 7″ in height, it’s hand painted and, unlike a lot of other tiki mugs I have, features a handle. It features a Jawa on top of an R5 astromech droid.

While it’s not as intricate or crafted as well as a bunch of my other tiki mugs, for the $9.99 price tag, I am happy to have added it to my collection last month, especially now that it’s sold out. If you’re interested in getting this piece, I’d suggest you try the secondary market.
