Review: Trader Sam’s Enchanted Tiki Bar Mugs

For today’s review, I check out two new additions to my Disney Parks / Trader Sam’s Tiki Mug Collection. Both of these pieces came from the Trader Sam’s Enchanted Tiki Bar location, located at the Disneyland Hotel in California. Let’s check them out.

First up, here is a closer look at the 4th Edition release of the Trader Sam’s Rum Barrel, which is the drink vessel for the “Shipwreck on the Rocks” cocktail at the bar. It is an exclusive design to the West Coast bar.

The Rum Barrel next to the Shrunken Zombie Head, both 4th Edition pieces from Trader Sam’s Enchanted Tiki Bar.

Next up is a piece from the 2019 Holiday Season. It was released at both Trader Sam’s Enchanted Tiki Bar and Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto in Walt Disney World. Each location got a different colorway of the same design, which is not unheard of with holiday releases. Here is Jungle All the Way.

This nutcracker is a tribute to the Jingle Cruise Holiday Overlay to the Jungle Cruise attraction at the theme parks, the inspiration of the bar itself. The West Coast location got a blue-grey colorway, and the East Coast location got a red colorway. Here is a look at both of the pieces side-by-side.

Both of these new pieces are great additions to my ever growing tiki mug collection. I got both of these pieces on the secondary market, as both Trader Sam’s locations are currently closed… and I live in New York and not near Disneyland. However, for the most part, the mugs listed on places like eBay and Mercari are decently priced (unless they are a crazy limited amount or much sought after pieces). For those who collect these pieces like I do, happy hunting if you’re looking for pieces like these.
