Review: Raya and the Last Dragon Happy Meal Toys (McDonald’s)

For today’s review, I take a look at one of the McDonald’s Happy Meal promotions that was released earlier this year. One of quite a few Disney-themed promotions that came in 2021 (I reviewed the Disney Princess promotion last week), here are the Raya and the Last Dragon toys, released in conjunction with the film of the same name.

There were eight toys released in all, each featuring characters from the animated movie. Let’s take a closer look.

Tuk Tuk folds up like in the movie.

Raya and the Last Dragon was the first movie I saw back in a proper movie theatre this year after they reopened from Covid. I wasn’t initially going to collect them all, but my landlord’s kids got really excited when they saw the movie and they wanted to make sure that both them and I had a full set… so that meant we collected together. It’s always fun seeing little ones as excited as I was about collecting Happy Meal toys when I was their age.

While these toys are no longer available at McDonald’s locations, these can easily be found on the secondary market if you’d like to add them to your own collection.

Special thanks to my buddies Delilah and Atlas for helping me track down the entire set.
