Another Disney Store Closes, This Time in Pennsylvania; 21 Remain

The cuts to the Disney Store chain continue, this time back on American soil.

Disney Store Outlet once liquidated merchandise from the main stores, but it’s now in a strange state of being the outlet for a shuttered chain. Only the Times Square flagship is a traditional format store.

The latest closure was at Tanger Outlets Hershey, in Derry Township, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania. Pennlive reports that Disney could not immediately be reached for comment. The closure seems sudden, with no mention online of forewarning.

In the United States, the following stores remain open, according to shopDisney:

  • California: Camarillo, Commerce, Livermore, Ontario, San Diego
  • Florida: Destin
  • Missouri: Branson
  • New Jersey: Elizabeth
  • New York: New York City (Times Square flagship)
  • Nevada: Las Vegas
  • Ohio: Monroe
  • Oklahoma: Oklahoma City
  • Oregon: Woodburn
  • Pennsylvania: East Lampeter Township (Lancaster County)
  • South Carolina: Myrtle Beach
