A hoodie with a pink and blue aesthetic, and Boba Fett.

Star Wars Holiday Special hoodie newly released

Fabled and faulted The Star Wars Holiday Special has always had a strange place in the fan community. But second to George Lucas’ attempts to bury the production is the fact that its animated sequence served as the screen debut of Boba Fett.

That short film, produced by Droids and Ewoks animation studio Nelvana, is now an officially licensed hoodie from RSVLTS.

This colorful and galactically retro hoodie is an homage to the 1978 Story of the Faithful Wookiee, better known as the world’s introduction to Boba Fett. Everyone’s favorite bounty hunter was designed and animated for this short based off of footage from a Lucasfilm test shot. Catch Boba Fett flying around and battling a beast with his Amban sniper rifle all over this soft and stretchy hoodie.

This isn’t the first merchandise based on the special. Last January, a Little Golden Book of the story was released.

Yesterday, RSVLTS has released a number of other new hoodies and caps, including “Battle of Yavin,” “That’s No Moon,” “This is the Way,” and the Ahsoka Tano lekku stripes featuring “Summer Snips.”
