Planned Star Wars Museum Creates Reality Show
The three biggest collectors of Star Wars merchandise and props have partnered up, with the goal of opening The Saga Museum of Star Wars Memorabilia. But between them, they have a collection of 1.5 million items.
No matter how many items are put on display, that’s ridiculous volume.
So how can they choose? They’ve connected with a titan of the prop world, Dan Lanigan, who hosted the dearly departed Prop Culture on Disney+:
Each week, four legendary collectors step into the Vault to reveal their most prized Star Wars artifacts — from screen-used props to first-generation toys to one-of-a-kind relics. They share how they found them, what they sacrificed to own them, and why they matter. Then the panel — and you — decide which piece earns a permanent place in the SAGA Museum of Star Wars Memorabilia.
There’s eleven episodes scheduled for the series, to air on YouTube.
