Captain America

Marvel Avengers: Infinity War Captain America Action Figure Review

Hasbro’s new Avengers: Infinity War action figure line includes Captain America which features moulded details and articulated limbs. This 6 inch action figure comes with a shield accessory and a plastic Infinity Stone.

Here is a look at the packaging:

The action figure comes in some great packaging, especially having Thanos in the upper corner, it does jump off the shelf and with this figure featuring a much more rugged Captain America, it does look different to the usual figures.  Especially without his trademark shield, which means he has this odd claw type shield, which will no doubt be much clearer once the movie is released.

Here is a look at this Captain America action figure:

The action figure is very solid, its got some serious weight to it, something I hadn’t been expecting from this line.

It’s face doesn’t really look too much Chris Evans the actor, which is a shame, I can’t help but think if this was placed on a WWE action figure, it would be hard to tell the difference.  But I do like the full beard and hairstyle, it continues that trend of showing us a different Steve Rogers.

The upper body has plenty of movement, with great positioning for its shoulders and elbow, plus the head moves in a few different ways.  It’s just a shame the legs don’t have any movement.

There is plenty of detail on the upper body, though the paint does seem to bleed on occasions, with a few little marks and scuffs on it.  Though this action figure is much more focused on being played with than for display.

Here is my video review of this Captain America figure:

OVERALL:

A really good Captain America figure, the new shield isn’t a touch on your usual Captain America figures (such as the recent Toybox one).  This is going to be a great toy for rough play, since its very well built and the addition of the “Hero Vision” items do make a nice bonus feature.

REVIEW SCORE:  7 out of 10
