New Merchandise Revealed For Reimagined World Of Disney Stores
Disney have released details and images of some of the new merchandise coming to the World of Disney Stores at Downtown Disney District in California and Disney Springs in Florida.
Both stores are being transformed into distinctly Disney retail environments that are contemporary, immersive and fun places to shop. These stores will have an improved store layouts and as flagship locations, they embrace new design elements that draw upon Disney’s rich history of storytelling.
These shops officially reopen on October 26th in Downtown Disney District at Disneyland Resort and on October 27th in Disney Springs at Walt Disney World Resort.
New merchandise coming to the stores include a vintage-inspired collection featuring T-shirts, varsity jackets and hats inspired by ‘The Mickey Mouse Club’.
“We’ve taken a beloved part of Disney history that Guests have enjoyed watching since 1955 and designed fashionable and fun apparel for today’s family,” said Laura Caszatt, Merchandise Manager with Disney Parks Merchandise.
There will also be a new Disney Parks Holiday collection, which includes décor, delicious treats and merchandise.
“The designs are festive yet practical,” explained Roger Dressen, Merchandise Product Developer for Seasonal Merchandise at Disney Parks. “We chose neutral colors so they can be easily incorporated into guests’ existing dinnerware collections.”
