Review: GotG Vol. 2 Groot Pop! Vinyl

Gearing up for the upcoming Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 movie, Funko has released some new Guardians Pop! Vinyls based on the characters from the franchise. My favorite Guardian is Groot, so when I saw the regular release Groot sitting on a shelf in my local Toys ‘R’ Us, I picked him up and decided to take a closer look at him.

 

While he is on the small side for an individual Pop! Vinyl, he is also quite cute and his small size reflects his new form in the second movie.There is a lot of great detail in the sculpt, and he has the cutest expression… probably right before he finds a way to beat your brains in.

Overall, I really like this Pop!, and he is a wonderful addition to my small Groot collection I have. In addition to the regular released of Groot, there are also currently three exclusive Pop! Vinyls announced: Walmart has Groot in his Guardians suit, Hot Topic has him in his suit with a shield, and Target has a Supersized 10″ Groot… I guess I might be on the lookout for those as well.
