Marvel’s Avengers: Infinity War Prelude #2

With Avengers: Infinity War set to hit cinemas next month, Marvel have released the second issue of their prelude, which skims through the events of the Marvel movies, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2, Thor: Ragnarok, Age of Ultron and Doctor Strange.

I’m not sure what the point of this comic book is, trying to retell so many movies just doesn’t work.  It’s so rushed and just doesn’t seem necessary, but if you haven’t already seen the movies, it could be a quick way of catching up.

The artwork is also a bit too messy for me, some of it is ok, but generally it seems a little dull.

OVERALL:

I wouldn’t recommend anybody pick this title up, if you want to get ready for the new movie, it would be better to re-watch the movies again.  I’d say put your money towards another Marvel comic instead.
