Ewan McGregor added to Fan Expo Canada lineup

Obi-Wan Kenobi himself will be a headliner at Fan Expo Canada in Toronto, this year, appearing Saturday, August 23.

Along with starring in the prequel trilogy (1999-2005), and the 2022 mini-series, McGregor’s Disney credits include the titular role in 2018’s Christopher Robin, and Lumiere in the live-action remake of Beauty and the Beast.

Still 108 days away, the event has started to reveal attendees, including John Boyega from the Star Wars sequels, and the cast of Back to the Future, including Michael J. Fox (Atlantis) and Christopher Lloyd (Who Framed Roger Rabbit).

Disney licensor apparel brand RSVLTS has announced it will return this year, having had its Toronto debut last year. New will be Spirit Jersey, a brand whose pop culture partnerships include Star Wars. Also new, audio-technica, which just released a line of limited edition high-fidelity wireless earbuds at Star Wars Celebration Japan 2025.

Disney itself tends to be an exhibitor, announcing their attendance late in the summer. Recent years included exhibitions of props and costumes from Star Wars: Ahsoka, and from Agatha All Along.
