Imagineering Reveals Scooter’s Behind the Scenes Advances

When Disney Imagineering released images of Scooter in a motion capture suit, ahead of the opening of Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets, it was widely dismissed as nothing more than a sight gag.

Turns out, there’s actually a robotic arm in the costume, moving the puppet like a puppeteer. Walt Disney Imagineering is finally giving us a behind the scenes look at the process.
