Haunted Mansion Hat Box Ghost – Jim Shore Disney Traditions Figure Coming Soon

Disney has announced they will be releasing a new Hat Box Ghost figure by Jim Shore Disney Traditions, inspired by the character from the Haunted Mansion.  Jim Shore will be at Art of Disney in Disney Springs at Walt Disney World on October 1st from 10am to 1pm for a signing event.  This figure is exclusive to the Disney Theme Parks.

Hauntingly enhanced with the renowned folk artist’s signature decorative icons and patterns, this spooky sculpture captures the elusive Hatbox Ghost’s design and personality in devilish detail. Collectors can even recreate the apparition’s eerie specialty, for his fearsome face is held in place with a magnet so that it can be removed, or shall we say disembodied, and placed inside the translucent hat box to complete the illusion of the head moving as seen in the attraction. As a frightfully appropriate finishing touch, the spectral skin of the Hatbox Ghost has a glow-in-the-dark feature, casting a ghastly pallor everywhere he gazes.
