Disney Infinity 3.0 Toy Box Summit Day 2 Recap
Disney have held their second Toy Box Summit in California Adventure at Disneyland and here is a recap of their second live stream which focused on showing the toy boxes that were created by the Toy Box Artists who are attending.
- Each team had 18 hours of building time, from the close of yesterday’s event, with many of the artists pulling all nighters. (See Recap)
- There are two awards, The Judge’s Choice Award (Winner gets everything available at launch for Disney Infinity). And the Community Choice Award (Picked by the community, like MightyGitis last year, the winner will get their own Infinity Townsperson.
- There were 4 judges, Stacy from StacyPlays, Disney Insider’s Drew Taylor, StarWars.com’s Matt Martin and Marvel.com’s Ryan Penagos.
- Competitions between each team to allow audience members to win a PS4.
- The artists were split into 5 teams, each Toy Box mentor was assigned some Toy Box artists and a theme within the main theme, Star Tours.
- All toy boxes will be available to download at Launch.
- Team TyForce – TyForce, DizExplorer 3, Enrem and Infinity Guru. – Planet Tatoonie.
- Team HanShotFirst – PapaEcho – CCRunner, Model Trainman and TheBaroness89 – Death Star
- Team Bounty Hunters – Crazy By Nick – MightyGitis, Romulus77 and Semerien. Planet Endor Toy Boxes.
- Team Lucky – Quinn Johnson – KingoftheTunas, SonicPhoto and Vasuari83 – Planet Coruscant
- Team Order 66 – Mr Logic Gate – Fdanielix, Erdadi3 and Infinifan1927. Planet Hoth.
- A combined toy box was created by everyone.
- New toys spotted include Wampa enemies, Frozen Castle, Splash Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain, Churro Cart and more.
- The Intro to the game is shown, featuring Inside Out, Twilight of the Republic, Toy Box Speedway and Rise of the Empire scenes.
- Judges pick a winning team – Order66. Voting open for a week.
- JV announced there will be the Toy Box Artist Pick character, where they get to pick a character who will be included in 2016 and will be announced at D23 Expo.
