Vinylmation Being Removed From WDW’s D-Street This Week
This past week, Disney put out an announcement for the upcoming Pixar series 3 Vinylmation saying that they would be released in the Pin Traders store in Walt Disney World’s Disney Springs area instead of D-Street.
This was originally thought to have been a mistake but we’ve had reports from several readers say that from his coming Friday, all Vinylmation will be removed and transferred to a small area at the Pin Traders store. This store did already sell Vinylmations before, but removing Vinylmation from a store many considered its home, continues the trend of Vinylmation having a reduced presence at the parks.
We’ve also had rumours that all Vinylmation trading is being removed from Disney Stores.
While trading was removed from the US parks, we’ve also heard that they will also be removed from Disneyland Paris this month as well.

Considering the last time I went to D-Street it was about 99% Star Wars it comes as no shock… I wouldn’t be surprised if a name change for the store comes within the coming weeks. (I also noticed that the Vinylmations section at Emporium was MIA last time I went over to Magic Kingdom)
I am curious to see if the parks will eventually phase this line out and eventually carry the Disney/Marvel/Star Wars Funko lines instead (which BTW has the park exclusive pop series been dropped or just delayed?)
Sad, sad day! I was also told vinyl trading was being removed very soon from Disney Stores. Can’t believe they like POP vinyl better than Vinylmation. Doesn’t make sense in my book.
I would like to know future plans for Park Starz. Will they ever produce a series 4. One set per year is perfect. The best, most unique vinyl products produced.
I went by the disney store this past saturday night… They know me very well at the one I tend to go to more often (Westfield Fashion Square in Sherman Oaks,CA) They told me they just “threw out” their trading box and stopped selling vinylmations in that store altogether. (The friendly cast member told me that after the aladdin ones sold out they just stopped altogether with vinylmations. They told me to go to disneyland to trade and I was like, they discontinued park trading like 9 months ago. 🙁 Such a sad day for vinylmations… My only other option for trading is chasingvinylmation.com…..
