Disney Tsum Tsum Figures by Jakks Pacific Roll Into Target for the Holidays!
In 2014, Disney Tsum Tsum took the United States by storm. What started off as a mobile game app and a small line of plush available through The Disney Store has grown to include monthly limited editions, a subscription service, expansion into the Marvel line, Christmas ornaments, and now vinyl “stacker” figures. During the Disney Consumer Products’ Holiday Showcase this summer, we got our first look at these vinyl figures (which were announced to be a Target exclusive here in the US). The wait is finally over, as this week marks the release of these new vinyl figures into Target Stores nationwide.
To celebrate, the team over at Jakks Pacific, manufacturer of these figures, sent a few of the 3pks. over for me to look at. Each 3pk. contain a Small, Medium, and Large figure. My review package today contained three different 3pks. Let’s check them out.
Figaro, Goofy, Winnie the Pooh
Cinderella, Winnie the Pooh, Mickey
Piglet, Dumbo, Donald
These guys are quite adorable, and stack pretty well. In Series 1, there are 78 total (26 characters in 3 different sizes). Some are not out yet, but will be out in the future. Along with each pack there is a pocket Collector Guide, so you can carry the guide around to make sure what you need.

Each of the 3 pks. are $4.99 + tax at Target stores starting this week. Since I have not seen them in stores yet, I do not know how many different 3 pks. there are. However, our friend Robert over at Coin Op TV found these in the wild and counted at one Target 12 different 3 pks. He purchased a few of them and a couple are different ones to what I received.

In addition, Robert came across a special “Mystery” 9pk. Each 9pk. contains (3) Small, (3) Medium, and (3) Large figures. One figure is brand new to the set with that pack, and one is a mystery. Both packs Robert got had a Medium as the Mystery. Each 9pk. retails at $14.99 + tax.

Based on how intense the Tsum Tsum craze has been over the past year, do not expect these to be on the shelves in droves. Stock will be sold out in most locations shortly after stores get their shipments in, so be on the lookout and good luck in collecting all 78!
