Marvel’s Black Knight Series To End

Frank Tieri, the writer for the Marvel series “Black Knight” has confirmed on his facebook account that the series run will conclude with issue #5 which is set to be released March 9th, 2016.

This latest series which began in November 2015 follows the adventures of current Black Knight, Dane Whitman, and his adventures in Weirdworld.

Tieri says “It sucks and there’s a lot I could say about it but in the end, the bottom line is the market is what it is these days and the sales just weren’t there, It was an honor and a privilege to bring Dane’s adventures in Weirdworld to you — and we’re not quite done yet as we’ll be wrapping up our storyline which actually can act as a limited series the way it’s structured.”

Marvel has yet to comment.
